I think the limit is for the offer of buy the product for xx points, not the xx times points. So there’s should be no limit on 15x points.

Been awhile since I did any stacking at Shoppers...
And I know there have been some recent changes, but here is how I understand it to be:

Bonuses come in 2 Categories
Items and Bottom Line

You can stack all the item bonuses you want
* Buy this get Y Points
* Buy this and get 20x Points on it

*** Always read the coupons for the fine print T&Cs, cause sometimes there are restrictions on quantities etc ***

Bottom Line Bonuses you can only have one, so
* Spend $ x and get y Points
Or
* 15x the Points on your total purchase

So in your case, and there is one from each category (and not 2 Bottom Liners) they should stack
You’ll get 20x the Points on milk, and
15x the points for spending over $ 40

Remember, Seniors Day 20% off only applies to regular priced merchandise

EDIT - change the word Collect to stack
And updated the T&Cs
So does that mean that you consider the "favourite brands-spend $15 get 4000 points" a "bottom line coupon"?

Last week we were discussing how I used one of those together with a "3000 pts when you spend $20 on anything" and I only got 4000 pts.

Personally, I would not consider the Favourute Brands Offer a Bottom line one ... but Shoppers might

Sorry, as I say it’s been awhile since I did any serious stacking over at SDM

Correct.

15x the points on energy drinks offer
Is not the same as
15x the points on total purchase

"offer applicable to one product only." can be interpreted in different ways depending on how "product" is defined. For instance, if I buy two of the same item (same size and flavor), am I buying one product or two? I'd say I'm buying two units of one product, but of course, what I think doesn't matter. What counts is how the offer has been programmed into the system.

Fwiw, I don't have examples to cite, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if some offers are programmed, whether intentionally or not, to award points on only one unit while others allow more.

I have no examples to prove it either, but I wager your statement to be true.

Clearly a change was made to the Milk situation... but I am pretty sure there are other coupons one can load where how many you Buy is not an issue

If anyone else got the email offer for a free shaving gift set up to a $20 value - be careful, it looks like the offer redeems automatically against any type of razor (and possibly all shaving products). I picked up a $6.99 pack of disposable razors yesterday and it triggered the coupon, when I was going to use it later on one of the big gift sets.

I called customer service and they confirmed it did redeem against the razors, I pointed out that a pack of razors is not the same thing as a *shaving gift set* and I wouldn't have used it on that if I'd known. The rep offered me 16,000 points since she couldn't reactivate the offer.

Of course now I got a free pack of razors and $20 worth of points to use on anything, so it worked out better for me in the end, but wanted to give everyone a head's up if they had that offer and hadn't used it yet.

So I have a Nutrilait 4L milk 20x on my Optimum but I bought the microfiltered version and it didn't trigger the 20x. The fine print said except chocolate milk, biological and sans lactose, which is not the case. I called the CS and they credited me back. Extra hassle.

I'm new to Optimum.

The deals don't stack?

I think there was an instore promotion for pts for 12/26-12/27. I noticed the system ignored my personalized optimum offer and only awarded the "instore bonus points". Is this correct?

I have another optimum offer specific to 12/27 and I want to know if I should even bother attempting to redeem it.

"When you spend" (WUS) offers do not stack, e.g., there was a 18.5k pts WUS $75 on the 26th-27th. If you also had say 10k WUS $50, they would not stack.

It depends...

The main thing to remember is you can only get one BOTTOM LINE Bonus at a time... be it one advertised in the flyer or a personal one to your account / app

So you cannot stack 20x the TOTAL PURCHASE / BOTTOM LINE Bonus
With say the Flyer Boxing Day Bonus (Dec 26th & 27th) that gives you 18,500 Bonus Points when you spend $ 75+

But you could use instore or individual coupons / Offers loaded to your card that say something like
20x the points on item Y
Or buy Item Z and get 3,000 Points
Etc

PS... sounds complicated at first... but it really isn’t... you’ll get the hang of it in no time
Lol, then just when you have it will morph into PC Optimum on you on February 1st
(Which will give you more opportunities to earn & redeem Smiling Face With Sunglasses)

hi, I have 99000 optimum points ( $175 value) now.
The Optimum APP says it could be 177,158 PC optimum points( $177.16 value) after conversion of Feb/01.

shall I spend all optimum points before conversion?

Personally, I like the future $10 minimum redemption hurdle. More flexible than the current optimum system.

FACT

What you actually have CURRENTLY under the SDM Optimum Program is 99,000 Points worth
95,000 Points = $ 170, and
4,000 Points = $ 0 ... as you need 8,000 Points to get to the $ 10 Redemption Mark

The max you can cash in under the CURRENT SDM Optimum Program is 95,000 = $ 170 on any single transaction
Any thing else remains in your SDM Optimum Account, and starts back at the bottom tier

Under the NEW PC Optimum Program coming February 1st, your entire 99,000 Points will Convert at the highest SDM Tier Level
(Which Offers the most favourable rate of Points value per point)

So based on the PC Optimum calculator those 99,000 SDM Points will become 177,158 PC Points
Which is worth $ 177.16 in Dollars
ALTHOUGH... one can only cash out PC Plus / PC Optimum Points In $ 10 increments
So right now you’d have $ 170 in Cash & 7,158 in Points remaining in your account

Under PC Optimum, the minimum Cash Out is $ 10, and the maximum Cash Out is $ 500 in a single transaction

So, as you can see your SDM Optimum Points above 95,000 are worth a lot more in the future PC OPTIMUM Program than they are now

Hold em & roll em I say
Smiling Face With Sunglasses

EDIT / ADD = Remember too that when PC Optimum starts you’ll have more opportunities to both earn & redeem at both chains
And the SDM base earn goes from 10 Points on the $ 1 ... to 15 Points on the $ 1
