What is the order that the seniors discount is taken off. I want to get an xbox1 lets say it's 400. Do i automatically get the 20% off (80$ if lucky but 50$ limit) = 350 THEN the tax from 350? or is that tax always from the original amount (400)?

Offer double dip
Today I had 8k WUS $30 OTC and 20X WUS $50...both worked.
I earned 8k + 20X($50-$30)

8,000 pts when you spend $30 on Over the Counter Medications (weekly offer) and 20X points when you spend $50 (one day offer) worked together.PointsHubby wrote: ↑ I am sure this was a good event for you... But you lost me with all the abbreviations.
I got the 8,000 points on the $30 and then I got 20X for the remaining $20 ($50-$30) for 12,000 pts total (Would have been 10,000 if I just got the 20X)
I have had a $30 redemption and a 20X on $50 work together this way before (where I got points on $20) but I have never had two "when you spend" offers work like this that I remember.
Anyway sorry for the shorthand!

Knew that OTC usually stood for Over The Counter, but with Meds missing and WUS in the mix I was confused / lost
WUS now I can see is the acronym / text script for When You Spend.
Congratulations on the Bonus Points. Always happy when a double-dip happens and I come out of a store with more than I anticipated.

O.k im sure somewhere in these messages this answers already exists but ..here goes.
If I redeem my points - $170 on cosmetics/cologne + other stuff- im I also eligible for the spend $50 on cosmetics get 8k points- which is NOT a coupon I need to load.
So I would get this weekends redemption bonus and the 8k on top of that?
I did get the stack last weekend- spend $75 get 18k + the 8k (im not sure if the lady at the counter scanned something or not for the coupon).

You don't get points if you used the optimum point to redeem as my recallsubmalst wrote: ↑ O.k im sure somewhere in these messages this answers already exists but ..here goes.

I got a decent promo for points that seems generic ... so others may have got the same.
4,000 Optimum Bonus Points
WHEN YOU SPEND $15 or more on PARTICIPATING BRANDS
Brands included: Life Brand, President's Choice, PC, Joe Fresh Beauty, no name, Quo and Stylize. (Loblaws Brands - not 100% sure about Stylize, but more than likely it is as well.)
4,000 points = at least $5 and up to $7.15 (no bonus days considered)
Pretty sure it is generic because of the following in the terms: "One (1) coupon available each week during the period of June 17, 2017 to July 14, 2017. Each coupon is valid for one (1) week. Not to be used in conjunction with any other points, promotions or offers, except for product specific coupons."

Add in other coupons (spend $x get x multiplier of points) and it's smooth sailing.
That is, if you like Loblaws Branded stuff.

Yes - definitely you will be 20 X the points - just make sure you are over the limit ( some days it is $ 50 minimum or more ).
I got that 4000 points for $ 15 - that is a great payback !... there is always something you can use... bandages, sunscreen, butter, orange juice, coffee...

I purchased a fairly expensive camera on a weekday this week as a gift for a friend (still unopened). Would I be able to return it this Saturday and repurchase it in order to get the 20x Optimum points promotion?
I apologize if this question has been asked before.
Thanks!

My understanding is all electronic sales are considered final sales and non-returnable and non-refundable (even to store credit or SDM card).kittenmishy wrote: ↑ I purchased a fairly expensive camera on a weekday this week as a gift for a friend (still unopened). o.k
So let so "Joe" has a 12k points coupon loaded for $50 spend
AND 10k points coupon loaded for $60 spend.
If Joe spends $65- how many points does Joe get?
22k?
10k?
12k?

Make it easy... Just move the one you don't want back to NOT LOADED, and use it another time if the date is still valid.
This is why it is so important to read all your Shopper's Emails and Offers, you can actually pick & choose which ones are the best for you when you might have several run over the same timespan.

Not sure why I would get a 10k for 60 spend or 12k for 50 spend- seems kind've obvious which one has the better ROI.

Would be nice...
This stuff happens all the time, which is why folks need to read & understand the many emails / offers they get from SDM
Example: If I shop tomorrow (Friday ~ June 30th) I have 3 ways to get points:
Regular (no Offers loaded) = 10 points per $
... So on $ 75 = 750 Points
Offer # 1 came earlier this month and is 15x points on $ 30 or more spent during the month of June
... So on $ 75 = 11,250 Points
Offer # 2 (came yesterday) and says if I spend $ 75 then I get 8,000 points for June 30th
BUT I just got an email today for this Weekend...
That says on Saturday or Sunday if I spend $ 75 then I get 18,500 points
So it is important to read them all... And just plan to load / shop with the one that is the best offer
Those are the "bottom line" Offers... Now add in the product offers that are stackable, and the differences / advantages of knowing when to shop are significant (ie 20x the points on milk).
