Alright everyone, I decided to start this thread because there will be numerous posts about this 7$ rebate from Hydro Quebec.

Hydro Quebec has instant rebate and mail in rebate, of course, most of us will go for the instant.
Many instant rebate at retailers is done on the computers.

I just got back from HomeDepot returning 3 bulbs that I just bought 2 days ago.

In this forum, if you all can, mention where , what type of bulbs, and how much were the regular/on sale cost were for the bulb.

I bought 4 CREE'S at 11.97 plus tax from Homedepot, minus the 7 for each bulb. Also bought 2 NOMA'S from Canadian tire for 9.97 plus tax, minus 7 for each.

I also saw a guy with 150 bulbs in his cart, the one's that are flat and circular philips, don't know if anyone has seen them, but they were 7.97$ each. These >>> (but in singles) http://www.homedepot.ca/product/led-105 ... lbs/864403

Could you let us know which retailers have the instant rebate applicable to your online cart? (if that's what you were saying).

Also, which light bulbs did you return and what were the reasons for the return? Any recommendations from the bulbs you've bought so far?

Hey eaneuman, check the post about, and look at the Original Post, where I posted the link for Hydro Quebec, they have all the retailers there ... i.e. home depot, canadian tire etc etc .
I bought Cree's ... but I bought them two days ago so they wouldn't qualify for the 7$ rebate.

At Reno Depot:

Luminus 7W 450 Lumens. 3000K $7.99
Luminus 9.5W 810 Lumen,2700Ks 9.98

The advertised lights at Reno Depot for $7.80 are much heavier and a bit bigger so I chose the Luminus ones

There are more than those lightbulbs at Reno Depot. The Globe Electric ones are covered and I bought 15 of them. 5 came out to $9.84 after tax and they are 810 lumens 9.5W. The coupon they have at the cash tell you which model (on the bottom) are applicable for the $7 rebate.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply the two types I bought were the only ones available at Reno Depot.
The guy at the cash had a closely typed sheet plus another 1/3 sheet of codes of lights that qualify for the $7.00 rebate.
