A lot of people purchase tires without realizing that there are rebates to take advantage of. So I thought I'd make a thread to consolidate all the current tire rebates. Let me know if I missed any!

Just a quick one to let you guys know that the rebate offers on General Tires will be denied if you buy them "on sale", e.g. Buy 1 get 2nd 1/2 price at Cdn Tire or in general if the price shows up as discounted from the regular price on your receipt (learned this the hard way during the winter tire promotion) - sad thing was I could have bought them 2wks later at regular price from Quebec and then I would have gotten an extra rebate!!!! So if a store has really inflated "regular" prices and then has a "sale" at more reasonable prices, make sure your receipt doesn't say that.

reality check on the Toyo's : 17" tires = $70 rebate, you gotz 2 be rollin on 28z to getz da $180 ......sigh. $17 off @ tire is barely a savings. Sadly, this is why I buy tires from the US.

Btw, I was at Costco earlier and the sign on the wall noted that there was $60 rebate on 4 Michelin as well as $40 off of BF Goodrich tires (which makes sense since they're owned by Michelin). I didn't see a form anywhere but this was a "Costco Times Roman font sign".

I was ready to go out and buy a set of Falken 912's but then noticed that there was a rebate for the Generals (which was the other tire I was contemplating - UHP).
Now I'll have to rethink this!

Which is the better option for my Jetta? Both these are real close on price...KR21's $477 all-in including Road Hazard. The Generals are $460. Anybody using either of these?
