I shipped to Hagen's of Blaine and they charged $5 USD which I found to be very reasonable. Shipping was actually $51.60 USD.

THE TIRE RACK $651.60 USD
$687.40 CAD + ~$82.49 CAD (GST/PST) + $5.00 USD (Hagen's) = ~$775.29 CAD

vs.

Local: $245.99/tire + GST/PST + Levy = $1122.04 CAD

Savings ~ $346.75 CAD

I was looking at getting a full package, so I guess that's why the shipping estimate is so much greater. I'll have to check into getting steelies up here.

Can you have two addresses for the billing on the CC?

What I did was changing the billing address to the US, completed the purchased, and changing the billing address back, all within 15min.

I just bought the following Michelin tires and wheels from Discount Tires:
4 - 225/70R16 Latitude Ice
4 - 225/70R16 LTX M/S 2
4 - MB predator alloy wheels (rims)
Total cost was 1,913.64 CDN including declaring the goods and paying the taxes at the border

I received a $70 USD MIR for each set of 4 tires ($140 USD) and a $50 USD MIR for the wheels that isn't included in the above prices which further reduced the price another 200 CDN.

With a total cost of 1,713.64 when received the rebates, I think its a pretty good deal.

Discount Tires have their own michelin $70 mail in rebate that allows Canadians who buy in US to get the same Michelin rebate.
You have to mail in the rebate versus completing it online.
