Just a side note, Michelle Waterson (Karate Hottie) looks cute when all dolled up but when she is in the ring without any make-up, she looks like a little boy !!!

She's alright, not the best record, but I think she's training with Greg Jackson now. Also way too small to fight the top women. I'd still roll with her :o

on the note of people UFC should sign....

I say they should add some more depth to their LHW division with Ricardo Arona

I'm sure everyone that watched Pride knows who he is

this guys fights have been against a whos who of the LHW division(and others)

he's currently 13 - 5 which isn't that great of a record....... but his 5 losses were to Fedor(by decision), Rampage, Shogun, Wandy(split decision), and Sokoudjou

he holds victories over Overeem, Wandy, Sakuraba, Dean Lister, Ninja Rua, Hendo, Guy Mezger, and Jeremy Horn x2

if by "add some more more depth" you mean adding a roided journeyman blanket that just can't finish fights (or grappling matches) even if his life depends on , than yeah i agree with you , the ufc really need this guy

ricardo arona without the roids will be absolutely worthless , just like paulo filho is

What does he do in his 60 minutes to drop from 173 to 171?
Cutting even more weight in the nearest sauna?

Last resort?

Bloodletting ... or peritoneal dialysis! You can drop 5-6 lbs in 4 hours ... 2lbs in one hour on agressive would do the trick.
He .... looka lika MAN!

wtf ?

at pride and against arlovski he was barely 230
than he bulked up to something like 245 for the gonzaga fight , and he looked like crap
and now , against this junior , he almost 260 and look like ricco fckn rodriguez

those guys at chute boxe are stupid or what?
it's seems like they looking at bums like lesnar and carwin and thinking what the hell , lets feed werdum with some crap load of big macs so he can also join the 265 pound club ?
this doesn't make sense at all

werdum got probably the best bjj in the hw division and his striking skills are really improved recently , but adding so much garbage pounds will just destroy his cardio and slow him down , massively

Miguel Torres

One of the best P4P fighters in the world, there's just not a lot of competition at 135 where he fights, but the guy is flat out amazing.

All that being..anderson silva is the best
Tito was never anything special, he never really finished anyone that was any good.

Really, I don't see Cote with much of a chance. He will need to land a lucky punch, but Silva is way too good for that to happen and he has a very good chin as well.

pretty much

most of the weight cut is all water weight, so they put on a sauna suit (think garbage bag clothing) and you do cardio until you sweat out enough to meet weight...

there are other ways, but thats probably what he used as it is the fastest way

most of the fighters do this, and then immediately start rehydrating and eating and balancing themselves for the fight

bankers:
silva, leites and werdum

upsets:
pete sell is desperate for a win, needs to win this
I think clementi will pull an upset here
to my surprise alves is an underdog, but i think he takes it
and sherk being former champ, and going the distance with BJ should take griffin and remain #1 contender

other fights are just guesses

Awwww....I feel sorry for Cote. But Anderson just looked scary as he was stalking and picking Patrick apart.

Silva was playing games with Cote. He didn't look at all serious and seemed quite lax about the fight.

Too bad for Cote though. At least he got up and showed that he has the guts to keep going, two legs or one. He will probably get another shot after as its the only respectful thing to do especially when he has lasted the longest against Silva in the UFC.

The right decision was made though. His knee is definitely messed up. Hopefully its not MCL or ACL because that would put him out for a while.
