The Randy/Brock fight just didn't look right.

Randy should have known that Brock was going to be hard to take down and got dirty in the clinch (try to break Brock's nose, like Gabe).

The fact of the matter is that Randy got out-boxed by Brock.

Or Randy wanted a nice big pay cheque, or there was a deal, or something.
You did watch the Gonzaga fight right? Randy broke his nose accidentally on a takedown when they butted heads... So your second sentence doesn't make any sense. He also didn't get outboxed by Lesnar, are we watching the same fight? I'm not sure if you missed Randy's left hooks (one of which cut Lesnar) or what... Of course Randy wanted a big pay cheque, who doesn't, but that doesn't mean he was willing to stand there and get his ass handed to him to do it. Also, are you implying that the UFC is rigged? What is this, ElieXC?

I actually thought Randy was the much better boxer in the fight. Brock hit harder but Randy was throwing punches in bunches and they were crisp clean shots that caught lesnar a couple times. The fact is Randy couldn't get dirty because brock was controlling him in teh clinch

Liddell vs Spider at UFC 93?

link:

http://mmajunkie.com/news/13268/report- ... iddell.mma

If so then Liddell's camp needs to work on his defense otherwise Silva will have like a 90% accuracy rate in the fight.
Liddell doesn't stand a shot and Dana White knows it.

This is merely a money fight. Imagine the amount of PPV buys for Chuck Liddell (still the most popular fighter) VS Anderson Silva (the best fighter in the world today).

I watched the Gonzaga fight. It was Randy's all out dirty style that led to the broken nose.

In his day, Evander Holyfield used head butts to gain an advantage.

Randy simply didn't look right. A year of legal fighting with the UFC then the sudden make up.

The fight just didn't look right.

Probably ring rust.

But to lose to Brock on a swing? Hmmm.

Some rumors that fans asked Dana White about during the UFC 94 press conference in Toronto which I just got back from:

A. Silva vs Liddell is at this point, nothing but a rumor.

TUF Canada vs. USA is in the works, although he hates the idea. But he said he IS gathering Canadian talent.

They will most likely try to get A. Silva vs GSP for the next superfight if he wins (pretty much a confirmation of what we knew)

Massachusetts and New York are his next targets, but then he said he would be "focusing on Canada", to which he also said "its only a matter of time before there's a UFC in Toronto".

A HW TUF is also coming, although hes "working on it" (aka not any time soon)

He acknowledged that it sucks for the LW and WW contenders (T. Alves and Ken Flo) because they have to wait at least like 8 months for a fight, but he said he is more interested in putting on (super)fights that the fans want to see. However, he is still intent on keeping the weight classes relevant and hinted that after UFC 94 each fighter would be defending their title (or titles).

When asked about Fedor, he gave the usual about how its Fedor's management that is standing in the way. He says that he has never even met Fedor, because his "Russian agent" is the one that shows up. He says his lawyer just made another call yesterday to Fedor's camp, and that he is always working on getting him into the UFC (keyword is into)

I might remember more later, but I think thats about it.

Best question from a fan:
"Georges, in regards to the afterparty, which hospital should I show up at?"

BJ Penn denied that he poked GSP in the eye, but rather that he punched him at an angle in which a knuckle entered the eye socket. He would also like to have a rematch with Matt Hughes.
