Must revive this thread!!
My biggest complain about UTSC is the parking. First of all it's a big problem, it's an important problem, it's an easy problem to solve, and it would probably solve many other problems as well.
Why is it so expensive? I understand that many of the parking areas were paved just as a temporary measure of using the land, but even without those "extra parking spaces" we'd have PLENTY and I can dare say we would not have anywhere close to a fully parked lot. Don't even need to discuss anything like, the amount of money it takes to maintain it, to print permits etc, it's complete bull that it's $611 for two terms, which comes out to about $90 a month... ridiculous.
There's all this talk about why our campus life is so crap, why there's so little people hanging around campus, is it the facilities? is it the people? Even if you had a 10 pools and 10 gyms and 10 cafeterias, no one is going to pay a fortune (like what, $12 daily?) JUST for parking to use them.
As if cars and insurance and gas weren't enough already, the school also needs to jack up the price every single year to "promote campus life", yeah, hella working.
I could complain about this in my head but why not express it here. RFD one of the biggest places to do so, and maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of some changes. Media likes to pull things from websites nowadays too, hope they catch this.

I wait for my cat. His litter box is right beside our toilet. When he shows up we do a synchronized poop, high five and then share a can of tuna.
