Wow forecast still looks more like early July. Crazy stuff!

Warmer than normal conditions to prevail across the north, and just normal elsewhere. That pretty much equals an overall warmer than normal continent.
Looks like fall is in no hurry to come to us.

What about next week op? All 3 weather services say that the massive cooldown is set for overnight Thursday and on forward. I hope this is the case.

I actually see changes starting to take effect exactly a week from now. A high pressure system will finally be dragged down by yet another hurricane to the east of us. So it will be cool after a week. At least it looks that way from what I see on the GFS model.

Too bad the public outdoor pools are all closed for the year now. September I did more indoor swimming than I did for the entire summer that we had. What an amazing Indian Summer. Smiling Face With Sunglasses

Starting to feel like we are on the west coast of Mexico. Every day it is the same thing. Sunny, very warm, almost no clouds at all. After walking on the streets of downtown, I come in feeling hot and sweaty. It feels like never ending heat.

Geez, every day I check the forecast and it seems they've adjusted the temperatures slightly higher.

I am in Barrie and it now says it's going to feel like:

34 today
38 Sat
37 Sun
37 Mon
37 Tue
30 Wednesday

Then it looks like that's it, as it says a high of 16 on Thursday. I look forward to lower temps!!

Actually I fully expect to check the forecast in the next few days and see they predicted Thursday wrong and it's going to be another 30+ day.

Tuesday is a lot lower in EC. But from what I see on the GFS, it might actually end up higher too. 4 days of temps in the 30s is practically unprecedented in fall.

I don't think we got even close to this all summer.

Warning just issued a few minutes ago.

I wonder if this extended period of warm weather will increase the temps of the Great Lakes and result in more lake-effect snows come November/December?
