its colddddd right now but will warm up quick for Friday it says 5-6 degrees for the weekend! WTF!?

-18 tonight with WC. Coldest November in 30 years. Record cold in many places.

Where the heck did El Niño go with their calming disposition ?

I hate Winter Cold & Snow before December, and after March.
2018 has been not so great from a Winter Weather perspective
We had snow & ice in late April. And then again in late October.

None in May, June, July, August, or September (5 months)

But 7 Months of Winter is just TOO MUCH

Isnt it suppose to be warmer this winter??

I dont mind cold weather but the lack of FALL is really disappointing. One extreme to the next.

Its now like -11 in Montreal with wind chill its like -17C and it's not even the end of November yet which is normally 9-12C ! ....WTH

East side folks always have this idea the west (alberta) is colder than the east but i beg to differ. our temperature numbers might say colder but in reality its much more bearable than what you guys get.

I recall being in Edmonton in late January 2002, it was around -35 deg C, I thought it was pretty effin cold!

Dry cold perhaps?
Its thag damp cold air that really gives you the chills... it can be “only” -2 and feel freeeezing.
