Wish the daylight was also stuck in winter mode. Whilst I do not like it getting dark @1630 I also do not like it creeping up to 2000 and beyond for sunsets. Makes it hell to get the kids in bed by1930 and having them settle down.

Yeah we put blinds on all of our upstairs windows and turn off the lights to try to get some darkness after bath time for the 7:30 put down. Definitely harder than dead of winter in that respect,

Damage all over the place. Fences, walls, branches, trees, hydro wires. This is a doozy.

He mines diamonds
I used to be friend with Chuck Fipke when I still lived in Kelowna. He's the guy who started the diamond gold rush.

There is no freaking way in hell I could ever live in Iqaluit. I dont care how much money they paid me.

He earns in one month what I earn in 12. I drive an 02 Civic, he drives a Jag.

I would endure spring and summer there if I can make double of what I make here in the GTA. :)

p.s. why are you no longer friends with Chuck? :)

This was back in the 1990's. I was dating a girl who was friends with the girl he was banging behind his wife's back.
We went on double dates a few times. Out for dinner....etc.

It was kinda weird because I was in my 20's, the girls were in their early twenties, and Chuck must have been in his forties or fifties.
A lot of people thought he was her father....LOL.

Chuck was a nice guy though, always picked up the restaurant tab. But I guess thats easy when you're (at the time) a billionaire.
His wife eventually found out about the affair, filed for divorce and took him to the cleaners
