Wow so it looks like my forecast for an early spring was CORRECT! Winter is done folks! whip out those all seasons! Winter is GONE!!!!!!

I can fully confirm we are done with it now. Snowfall is finished and the cold is gone until next winter (already has been for a few days already). A very welcome early start to spring this year!

It was also very right suggesting everyone to get rid of their winter tires.

Many insurance plans require you to have winter tires until the end of March.

Lol. Thanks to OP and nice weather, I don't regret swapping my winters to all seasons on march 10. Driving with winter tires in dry road really feels slow.

We just had 4 cm of snow in Ottawa in late afternoon. I looked outside at around 4pm and big snowflakes were coming down, until around 6:30pm. Took everybody by surprise. We thought snow days were over :(

Well that's exciting, and unexpected. After last year, I was prepared for winter to last a lot longer.

I've been riding my bicycle to work this week. It's been pretty nice.

Got burned last year. No way are the winters coming off until mid-April.

Yup same for me. Its way too early. Plus pot holes are better to handle on steelies.

Summer tires are usually hard as hockey pucks if it’s under 7c, so yes, definitely keep the winters on. Just because it’s plus out doesn’t mean take them off, they’re the best balance for Canadian spring until end April / early May depending on where you live.

You really think because it is "spring" winter weather would really be over before mid to late April? Here is what mum nature says about that :Image
