Hi All,

Yes lotteries are a scam in the first place. But if you're playing anyways ... OLG is running a promo to give you $15 once you spend $15 on their new online site (Account creation required). Ontario only. Lotto 6/49, LottoMAX and Encore only. Free money is free money.

https://www.playolg.ca/content/dam/olg/ ... 3LFgLw_wcB

Enjoy.

good promo, thanks but I had a very hard time using this site and ended up canceling my account.
I'm in Ottawa, and neither my cell nor my desktop, wired computer would work.

Something to do with being outside Ontario .... very annoying. No way to fix it.

OP, you should update the title for "New account/activation".

OLG's system is quite bad. You sign up online on their site but you cannot play on their app.

I had this issue during the last promo.
The OLG site does not recognize my home internet provider (Carrytel) but works just fine at work (Rogers).
At home, I used my VPN (Windscribe) and changed to Toronto IP and experienced no issues.
Hope this helps!

No luck for me. "This promotion code is invalid, inactive, or you are not eligible to receive the promotion."

Same here. It takes forever for the money to actually get deposited into your account.

Last year I made an OLG account and used my credit card to set it up. I later found out that it was considered a “cash advance” so I was charged an extra fee on my credit card Neutral Face

Most banks charge casinos deposits as cash advance, and they are somehow right to do that. That being said, I'd recommend the following :
1. Use debit cards (if on the list supported by playolg.ca (or other casino websites one is using)
2. If debit is not an option, check your cards for cash advance fees (fees range from 3$ to 5$) and choose the lowest fee card for cash advances. Please also note that while this is kind'a considered a cash advance, they won't inquire interest on that amount. Please also note that some banks are not accepting their cards to be used for such deposits (casinos, gambling) and that is clearly stated in the leaflet they provide you when you sign up

Happy to say my bank does not charge me any fees for casino deposits, but that might what they call customer courtesy :) as my card brochure clearly states there is a 3$ fee....

Existing user. I see nothing and "lotto" says it's invalid.

Since Scotia Interac is no longer a Debit option their site, I use my Stack my card. No fees.

I still have some funds in my account. If I spend $15 of that, will I still get $10 back? I don't want to link a card or bank account.

I don't see this promo. Do I need to deposit $15 first?
