Olympus Stylus 300 or C60?
Olympus Stylus 300 for $124 or Olympus C60 for $169?
Is it good as budget cams?

Well it's like comparing apples to oranges. The 3MP Olympus will obviously not look as good as the 4MP Sony in terms of picture quality. The Olympus cameras itself though are very good for what it does. During the 3-4MP era, its picture quality even rivaled that of the industry leading Canons. For a basic point & shoot camera, this Olympus has decent performance, okay battery life-about 50 to 60 shots per charge using the LCD, and great picture quality.
For more in-depth reviews including sample pics for these two cameras, you can check out Steve's Digicams:

As for the price, $125 dollars for a 3 megapixel camera is actually a very good price. But before doing that, see if you can still get a 4.1MP HP R607 for $145 instead, which is what this RFDer did in this post:
