Nintendo milked "Pokemon" for all they were worth, can you blame Apple for doing the same?
I'd blame society for buying into it so much... labelling the 2000-2010 decade the "iGeneration" ... I dont want to be part of that *$&%ing group.

The Apple fanboys would probably be allover it, so it's not such a bad idea.

I wish Microsoft would buy-out Apple and shut it down so I don't have to see those arrogant nerds with white earphones on the subway

Wow, what's with all the hate? I have an ipod because it works well, is immaculately designed (in both the physical and interface sense), lasts long per charge, and syncs directly with itunes.
Anyways, I doubt the masses would flock to an iCar just because it's made by Apple, but just imagine if they revolutionize the standard car interface... it could be awesome!

The "iCar" thing was speculation by the reporter, and a terrible one at that. Electronics companies have been working with car manufacturers forever now. Just because Apple gets approached, suddenly it means something now?
This is nothing new, nothing special. As we move through the 21st century, expect to see more computer integration in your vehicles.
