I like how they skipped over a #4 version. The folks over at OnePlus must be very superstitious Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes. Trust me, the OnePlus Two was plenty worthy of the #4 moniker when it comes to the luck of those that bought it.

The current OnePlus 3T is $599 CAD. I'm going to bet all my money that the OnePlus 5 will start somewhere between $649-$699 CAD. You can take that to the bank.

SD card and i'm in. Or fair pricing on a 128GB version.

Absolute horrible company to deal with if you have any issues. It should take 15 emails to return a DOA phone.

It's a bit or miss with Android phones. Luckily it's rare for me as I only keep them for like 6 months.

As for 4. What's the reason for skipping it?

Also these announcements are not shocking anymore. Even their pricing isn't.

So true. My one plus one was great until it crapped out on me. Contacted them almost 10 times through email just to send back my phone

Wait, so OnePlus is able to get ahold of Snapdragon 835s for the OP5, but LG wasn't able to for the G6?

Also - OP is creeping closer and closer to real flagship prices. Once you get within $100 or so, IMO it's starting to be a much less interesting buy.

LG wasn't able to get a hold of SD835 for their planned release date (which was early March in Korea).

It really only applies to Canton and Hong Kong. Xiaomi I guess is from a different part of China.

One plus priced their stuff out of my league several iterations ago. With even mid range phones having adequate hardware performance, there is little need to spend $800 on a phone that will have the same useful life as something at half the price or less. The battery is the weak link these days and no amount of money makes this problem go away.

You don't have to be superstitious, why take the chance? Look at how many buildings that don't have a 13th floor.

People just don't realise that they are on the 13th floor even though it says 14th

If I can get a discount because I have a condo on the 13th floor or a cheaper phone because it has a 4 in the model, sign me up.

It may kill the resale value, but I just need to sell it to someone that's not Chinese.

If the rumor of a 3000mAh battery turns out to be true, then that will be a major disappointment. No Flagship phone from any company should have less than 3500mAh.
