So they just updated the cpu to 835?

is that the only difference over the original one plus 5?

edit nvm - dual camera, move fingerprint to back of phone, and a new 18/9 display are the differences.

The OnePlus 5 has an 835 processor.

Main differences in the 5T are form factor (longer screen, smaller bezels), supposed better camera, and fingerprint reader on the back.

What's the warranty on this model? Only info I see about it on their site is a link to the Chinese parent company's site that's not in english. Seems kinda dodgy to me if they're not up front about the warranty.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

The 128 GB Essential Phone is at $650 with a better screen and guaranteed Oreo by this year, and it'll likely drop in price further by the end of the year.

5 and 5T won't get Oreo until 2018, and the fact that they've already cut OS update support for the 3 and 3T after Oreo after slightly over a year doesn't make this a confident buy.

OxygenOS 5.0 Android Oreo Released for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T

Essentiel Phone will go bankrupt soon and you talking about support? lol

Oneplus 5T pretty much wins in almost every aspect with exception of display resolution.

I have a 3T, using Oreo from OTA. Yes, I use the open beta program for Android updates, but it will come to non-beta program user eventually.

Calm down bro.....they even said 4GB RAM is enough, so 6GB/8GB RAM is waste .....well.......I still prefer more RAM for android

I'm talking about no further OS updates after Oreo.
