onhop.ca charges both taxes. Why?

Hi all,

I was going to order some items from onHop.ca but noticed that my cart had both the provincial and federal taxes included. I am in Quebec and onHop.ca is in Ontario. None other places e.g. CanadaComputers.com, NCIX, BestDirect, Newegg.ca, etc charge me 2 taxes. They only charge me federal 5% tax. Why is onHop.ca different from others?

Thanks in advance.

Have you contacted them and asked them about it?

Perhaps Onhop has a presence in Quebec? If so they are required to collect the tax.

Their contact us page says they are open between 9:00 - 5:00 during weekdays (can't call from work).
No email address for contact.
They have a web form but that asked me to sign up before I could send them a «ticket». I don't want to sign up just for asking them a question!
