Online Jobs in Canada for Students?

So after reading an article on MSNBC regarding internet jobs in the US, I was wondering if we have something similar here in Canada.

The reason I ask is because I'm a full-time student at BCIT taking 8 courses per term for the financial management program. I don't have a car for transportation, and I need to be efficient with my time (ex: wasting time commuting/walking to a job) as I'll probably be expected to study for 30-60min for each class per day.

I'm starting the financial management program in September as well. Been working as a lifeguard for 3 years and want to try to work weekends at least. I don't think there will be any classes on weekends.
