I had the same thought as yours until I tried Bob Evans. They offer breakfast with QUAlity

NF. If it's $6.95 here chances are it's closer to $14.95 there. The actual food was worse there too.

Denny's at Hurontario and Courtney Park has been closed for a while now. A good place is Skyway Jack's at Mississauga Rd and Erin Mills. Right beside The Keg.

I personally stick to Denny's. It's nothing extravagent, but you get quite a bit for your money (though not as much as you would in the States).
Tried Golden Griddle last week, and wasn't really impressed at all. As someone else said, it does seem, "yucky".
As for Markham Station personally, I don't know what is so appealing about it. I guess the $3.99 breakfast is decent, but other than that I really don't see what's so special about their food/prices.
And yes, any time you eat Denny's at Niagara, get ready to pay a premium (for what, I'm not exactly sure).
