That opinion is at odds with the official position of the EPA itself, which states that "carbon dioxide is the primary greenhouse gas that is contributing to recent climate change," and that since "the Industrial Revolution began around 1750, human activities have contributed substantially to climate change by adding CO2 and other heat-trapping gases to the atmosphere." Pruitt's opinion is also at odds with conclusions from NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and atmospheric scientists worldwide.
The EPA page is from climate change lover Obama, looks like they didn't have a chance to change it so far.
That NASA web page doesn't say anything about CO2 being the main cause of global warming

With the United States out, who's left to take up the reins of global leadership and push forward measures like last year's breakthrough Paris climate agreement? There's only one possible answer: China.
HAHAHAHAHA.

This lady would disagree with you. (Although I'm sure she would gladly welcome the "leadership").

- 3 years ago China declared war on polution http://www.reuters.com/article/us-china ... 5W20140305
- Recently Chinese Premier pledged to make the country's smoggy skies blue again and "work faster" to address pollution caused by the burning of coal for heat and electricity.
- China’s National Energy Administration recently announced the cancellation of more than 100 planned coal-fired plants.
- China has said it plans to invest 2.5 trillion yuan ($362 billion) in renewable energy through 2020

It will take time for air pollution to be reduced...

Possibly until 2030, the year that China says it'll reach peak CO2 emissions.

once trump is gone the states will go back to leadership, china doesn't have enough time to overtake the lead, even right now with trump, the US have better environment than china

Venus is both closer to the sun and has tens of thousands of times more CO2 in its muchore massive atmosphere than the Earth.

Mars has about 20X more total CO2 in its atmosphere than the Earth, doesn't increase the warmth that much.
But Venus is hotter than Mercury even though it's further. The only reason is it's CO2 laden atmosphere. Wait are you arguing that CO2 in the atmosphere does not heat the planet?

Most climate deniers argue that man made CO2 is insufficient in quantity to cause warming. They don't actually deny the physical properties of the cause.

Edit: mixed up Mercury and mars, sorry.

That will require repealing the 22nd amendment. Not gonna happen.

Venus is closer to the Sun than Mars.

I am saying that Venus is not comparable to Earth, as Venus's atmosphere is 93X heavier than the Earth's, with 220,000X more CO2 in it. Even Mars has about 20X more CO2 in its atmosphere than the Earth and it's hardly warm.

That is in reference to when China will begin markedly reducing its CO2 emissions.

Scientists to EPA head: You don’t know what you’re talking about
"Just as there is no escaping gravity... there is no escaping the warming."

https://arstechnica.com/science/2017/03 ... ing-about/
Last week, newly appointed EPA head Scott Pruitt made some comments about climate change that were clearly at odds with a basic scientific understanding of the climate. Since then, various groups of scientists have pointed out just how wrong he was and have offered to help out if he decides to come to grips with reality.
