What is the number to book the appointment direcly if you haven receive the call?

Is there a link to register my parents for 2018?
I didn’t do it last year and now they want a nest.

Thanks,

can someone tell me if they set up the wifi after they install?
I'm planning to ask my parents to wait at my house while they install so I don't have to book a day off work. But they do not know what wifi even is, never mind setting up the password. I'd rather not give the installer my wifi password.
Yes, they do input the wifi password to check if everything is syncd and working. The installer asked me to enter the password and looked away while i entered the password. You could give the password to your parents to give to the installer and later chnage the wifi password after you get back home.

Does this program work like the peaksaver, Where they can adjust your temp?

We had the thermostat set for 22 hold.
Now it says 21. We didn't change it. Only other thing I can think of is maybe my son moved it by mistake when he checked the weather, but I doubt it.
1 degree is not a big deal, just curious

No "they" cannot. Also lock out the thermostat so no one can change anything.

You can connect it to the wifi later. That's what I did with my in-laws. The installer just checks to make sure the thermostat is working with the furnace. They don't necessarily test that your wifi is connecting to it.

So I had received the Email

"Great News! We've Expanded the GreenON Installations Program. Great news! Space has opened up in the GreenON Installations program. This means you’ve moved off the waiting list and on to our official applicant list. You are now one step closer to reducing your carbon footprint."

back in Dec 13th last year. Haven't heard back since. Any idea how long it will take. I live in East Scarborough Area. Thanks.

Anyone had luck getting the installer to actually install a c-wire? I definitely am missing the wire but running it shouldn't be too hard for someone with the proper tools - my furnace room ceiling is exposed and the thermostat wall is directly above my furnace. If the installer 100% won't install the wire should i just attempt to run one myself and let the installer hook it up to my furnace?

Is this the right wiring configuration for ecobee lite? It looks different than ecobee 3

I thought G go to G and how come this goes to C?

How can one lock their thermostat?

btw, had my ecobee installed today - whole process took about 40 mins. The installer (Vince) was quick and knowledgeable. Great program, although they could do a better job with streamlining the appointment process which was utter chaos. Thanks to RFD and all the folks who chipped in with their comments/suggestions.

Yes, that's correct. They updated the installation document for the PEK to reflect this. It used to be G-G, and Y-Y1.

The wiring looks correct to me. The PEK install for the Ecobee3 is different from the PEK installation for the Ecobee3 Lite.
