What you're saying is speculation too, and the policy that was developed last fall was to force people in at a certain % despite the rising case counts and only got put on pause weeks and weeks later. I'm not staying you'll be back right in Sept, but rather, you shouldn't make blanket statements like, you don't need to be in the office until 2022. If people are making job decisions, living decisions on a statement like that (which frankly its the internet, they shouldn't but anyway) it could screw them up.firehawk12 wrote: ↑ This is pure speculation, but unless there's a change in vaccination plan, most people who are working age won't be fully vaccinated until September or later. I don't expect the government to recall all 60k people until after that... which makes that probably October/November? We're also hoping that vaccines work against the variants, but who knows.
If you happen to go into a role that requires on prem, that's different. But for a standard policy or program delivery position, I'd be surprised if a manager insisted you came in just so you could sit in a room together to write a deck or deliver a presentation.
