Where's Ontario getting all this money to throw around? Aren't we big time in debt?

"The Liberal government has earmarked up to $5 million for the program out of cap-and-trade auction revenues."

Why $7500? What the hell? I got my "L2" Tesla charger installed in my garage with equipment for under $1800.

Liberals literally are throwing our money away.

Too bad my federal government department outsources their parking to a 3rd party company (IMPark) who are most likely too cheap to join the program.

Fyi...

"The federal and provincial government, and their respective ministries, departments, entities, agencies, and Crown corporations are not eligible to apply."

Probably because chargers for commercial use cost more than the regular L2 charger. Example. 7k USD, couldn't find any pricing in Canada. It's dual port though and is eligible for up to 15k rebate.

Yes, Impark is private and is outsourced by certain federal departments, my point is that they'll probably be too cheap to anyway.
