I hope my security clearance pass well, they said they will contact the references through November to December. If your references get contacted let me know

I got contacted by 3rd party requesting additional reference, because one of my references did not respond at all.

At the same time I also got an email requesting me to fill out the security clearance form. (Yes I have not fill it out because I haven’t been in Canada for 5 years. If I fill it out I also have to provide a CRNC from my country of origin.) As I don’t know whether I will get an offer or not, I am still deciding whether I should fill out the security clearance form and get a CRNC....
Will you be able to get an offer if you don't do security clearance? It is part of the selection process

Does anyone know if start date is flexible at all? I was told there would be 3 classes this year (Feb, May/June and Sept), so if I were to get a job offer to start in Feb could I defer my start date to May/June to coincide with the next class?

Also, is income tax calculated on the $39.04/hr or are union dues and RRSP contributions taken into account upfront and tax is paid on $33.14/hr (39.04 - 5.00 - 0.90)?

Did anyone apply to the Bruce Power NOIT posting? Did they send out the OMST test yet?

I received an email today that offers would be going out mid January for the February class. I also received the test for the NOIT position at Bruce Power today.

I don’t think anyone will get a rejection email until all classes are filled for the year. My guess is that the first batch of emails will be sent out in mid-January, the next in April (for the tentative May start), and the final ones in August (for the tentative September start). The rejection emails likely won’t happen until late August.

I'm wondering if anyone that has been through the interview process can share some info on what to expect? I have an interview scheduled for early January.
