Opinions on SanDisk Sansa MP3 player
My MP3 player finally died and I was looking for a cheap replacement.
FS has the SanDisk Sansa 1GB for $49.99 this week

I've read some good reviews on it but I would like to hear from my favourite online community.Last edited by nsx; Jul 13th, 2007 at 09:16 AM.

Personally, I wouldn't get one that doesn't have some kind of memory slot.

I've got the 2 gig version.
Got a line straight through from left to right on the LCD that doesn't work.
Happened about 3 months after I got it on Boxing day.
Battery life is ho hum. Maybe 12hrs on a full charged 900mAH rechargable.
Sound quality is OK. More than better enough considering it's only playing MP3s
Some weirdness with it though. I tried to use it as a data flash drive between two XP computers. Each recognized and only showed one of the two different partions on the MP3 player. The CPU that recognized the wrong partition however didn't even have a service pack installed.
More than happy with it though considering the price. Would buy again over the competition.
I'ld never get a mini player that didn't take AAAs. Battery life should be at least 2x the recorded material.
