Options to Study in Canada

Hi,
One of my acquaintance is exploring options for his son to study in Canada after doing senior secondary (class 12) from India.
I am not that familiar with colleges/universities and their corresponding fee structure.

What is the best way to go about finding the details, at high level:
1) Is it worth doing Degree or should explore College courses ? (which courses should be explored, with aim to get a job and build a career )
2) What's the fee structure for degree/diploma college courses ? any ballpark figure?
3) Is it better to explore Master options after doing graduation in India ?
4) Are there scholarship options for bachelor courses ?
5) Any other pointers from your experience/knowledge ?

I understand, he would have to narrow down interest areas/cities but not sure where to even start.

Thanks a lot.

International students pay an upward of $10,000 per semester. or $2200~ per course. Most colleges DO offer bachelor programs but are limited. I personally think he will have more opportunities (if that's what he's looking for) in the Toronto area.

As wwkk624 stated, it's way more expensive for international students.

In Montreal it's about 19000$ per year for intl students and only 4K~ for locals. Rent is much cheaper here than in Toronto though. (40% less on average.)

He should pick any major that has good job prospects and offers him some stability. (This is important for new immigrants.)

imo, go to the best uni you can in India for your undergrad then do post-grad here in Canada.

from an international standpoint, reputation is everything.
