Ordering (Iced) Espresso at Starbucks - frowned upon? Also tipping at SB.

In north america... we get something a bit better than tim hortons/dunkin donuts and its gourmet!

Good point. Making an iced espresso must be super easy for them compared to some other orders they receive. But even then I find I get inconsistent results. I usually ask for blonde espresso beans and I find they usually give me regular espresso, which tastes a lot more burnt than the blonde one.
I think they give you a free drink if they do it wrong, even better

Yes, it will be interesting to see how the locals will or will not accept it. My guess is it will be mostly visited by tourists. It will be interesting to see the prices they set for their espresso/cappuccino as they are mandated by law I believe (except for the sit-down customers).
