Dalton screwed me over. Because I received full OSAP, I apparently do not recieve this tuition rebate. Anyone who gets the Student Access Grant Doesn't get the tuition rebate. What a rip off. So from next year I will actually be recieving less OSAP and no benefit from this as well.
He scammed students to vote for him by telling everyone 90% of the people will benefit from this, however everyone I know has lost from this.
This is taking away from students who actually need the money (Low income households) and is giving more to middle - to higher (but still less than $160k) house holds.

Nope I got both. The student Access Grant is through OSAP....The student Access Gurantee is through the school. The gurantee is an additional bursary to help lower income families cover most of the educational costs.

In my first year I had 12 courses, now I have 10 courses, but the tuition is clearly more expensive even with less courses in two terms.

I didn't get OSAP but I sent in the forms and everything earlier. Was I supposed to do something else to get the $800 grant? I vaguely remember it saying that I'll automatically get it if I'm eligible but I haven't heard anything back yet.
Better not have just thrown $800 out the window.

I finally called the hotline and it seems that if you're already receiving some other grant from OSAP, like the Ontario Access Grant, then you're not eligible to receive more grants like this $800/term rebate. This was the case for me so oh well...

I also received my OSAP for the winter term but have yet to receive the $800 rebate (I'm also not receiving any additional grants from OSAP)
Really hope I get it...$800 back would help a lot.

$3000/term including all the fees
$2600/term for just tuition
