OSAP Help
Probably one of the most foolish mistakes I've done. I collected my OSAP (fall) in September and forgot to take it to the Post Office to get it processed. Now after my exams are over, I was going through all the papers I found the OSAP loan papers. However when I took it to the Financial Aid Office in my school, they dont have any advisors available and the staff suggested that I wont be able to get that loan amount.
I went to the Post Office and the CSR there said all that needed to be done is the advisor needed to adjust the expiry date and sign below it. Now is this situation as simple as this ?
What do you suggest me ? Thanks for all the help.

Thanks a million for reconfirming that.
The staff at Financial Aid Office scared the **** out of me, hopefully I will never let this happen again.

Sorry to bump this back up but I forgot to ask whether if someone can direct me towards the process for this situation. I couldnt find anything related to this on the OSAP website.
Thanks.

u just have to take it back to your school's osap office....they are supposed to cross-out the old date, and write in the new date with signature (you would have to sign as well, next to the corrected date)....
once the date is fixed, you'll take it to the post office
note: the school staff will correct the date only if you are still in school, and did not finish in december

You mean completed the program or the semester ? This semester is over but the program isnt. (I will be doing 3 more semesters)
Does that mean my school staff will be able to resolve it or should I contact OSAP ?

i meant program...so if u r coming back to school in january, u should be fine
and yes, school osap staff should be able to do that, unless they don't know their job description (u sould not have to contact osap, as u mentioned)

I have a feeling you don't even need OSAP...
