[Costco] Paderno Fusion5 11 pc $219.99 costco.ca until Dec 9

Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Costco.ca has the 11 piece Paderno Fusion5 fully clad cookware set on for $219.99 until Dec 9. It's top quality, made in Canada.

Last year it was $239.99 and was a hot topic here.

Excellent quality set. If you don't like the nonstick fry pan, just write to Paderno customer service and you can get it exchanged to stainless steel one.

Really? I got mine almost a year ago, I wonder if they'll still exchange it.

I emailed them right away. They said if I did not use it and did not remove the tags I can just mail it to them and include printout of the email. I did so, spent $10 on postage to PEI. Within 2 weeks I received the stainless steel one.

There are also three sets that are on sale on paderno's website (shipping not included, but you get a free Mini Fry Pan)

http://paderno.com/shop/10pc-procopper-set/ $179.99
http://paderno.com/shop/10pc-green-gables-set/ $169.99
http://paderno.com/shop/cusino-10pc-set/ $189.99
IMHO, none of those compares with the Fusion5. Those all have bonded bottom pads. The Fusion5 has heat conductive layers that go all the way up the sides of the pot for much more even heat. This is especially important with gas, in my experience, but it's noticeably better on an electric cooktop too.

The KitchenAid fully clad set that goes on for $180ish at Canadian Tire from time to time might be in the same league, performance wise, but I like the Made in Canada aspect of the Fusion5.

+1, heat distribution is really good in Fusion5.

After admiring my 14 piece set for almost a year I decided to use the non-stick frying pan. I wished I had known I could trade pans.

The handles are pretty solid and you won't get buredn cooking something really hot. I really like the set.

The more I read about these, the more I want them. Thanks OP, but my mom has a stockpile of cookware still new in boxes lol
