Which pair of sunglasses are you guys using for running?
I was thinking of buying a pair for running and driving. I have my eyes set on a Oakley Half-Jacket XLJ Polarized. I'm just wondering what are you guys using? Thanks!

Man... Oakleys are really expensive. Unless you really want to pay out 200 - 300 for the name, i'd recommend something cheaper but decent in quality.
Do you REALLY need those oakleys?
I have a pair of nike interchange and they were wicked i got em for like 50 $US a few years back. Look for deals dude.

May 6th, 2006 12:26 AM #4To be honest, money really isn't an issue for me. I guess it may be an issue if we're talking about $300 or more. I'm looking for a good pair that will last me a while.

They'll do fine. I run with a pair of XX (similar to Half Jackets but full framed) and they stay on well. For driving, I switch between A Wires and Square Wires. The wire frames are easier to put on and remove one-handed than the jackets.
Bolle makes really nice sunglasses too. They're not as expensive as Oakleys, and they have good designs for sports sunglasses.

Seems more like people are running in a fashion contest.

Right now for rollerblading (ok..."inline skating"), biking and outher outdoor sports I'm using Smith Sequel sunglasses.
You can change the lenses and I bought some polarized rose/copper tinted lenses to block out glare.
Retail price would be about $250 for the sunglasses with 3 sets of lanses you can change, polarized extra lenses would be about another $100 or so.
I bought all that online a few months ago for $140 Canadian at Backcountry.com
they have very good sales there but "US only shipping.....but shipping is free in the US"
You can probably find Smith sunglasses at most bike shops.
other people I know wear Spy, Nike or Rudy Project.
I used to have Bole sunglasses and the frame snapped in 2 so...not buying another pair.
overstock.com has a good selection also_______________
