I've read a lot about sorel also being trash. People that bought original sorel's had them last 20 years but when they went to replace them the Chinese made Columbia owned current versions barely made it past a year and were much worse in warmth retention.

My pajar boots failed me. One of the metal grommets or whatever for the laces came off. My toe bled when I walked 5 km in them, and boots leaked. But, they have good grip for shovelling snow on the steep-sloped sidewalk.

When I test-drove my leather Sorel boots on the same route (10km), they passed with flying colours.
Wore my Pajar boots for shorter walks in the snow and it did well at keeping my feet dry, which I appreciate!

They definitely look good, but why buy it from amazon? Why not visit the official store or Pajar website directly?
I keep my boots clean by wearing neoprene boot covers, do you?
