I noticed that a recent Bay flyer insert advertised Pajar coats. Wow, they are expensive!

They said the Pajar shoes/boots are 100% made in canada... just not the coats. *welp*
I was at the Bay not long ago and I saw their boots, all of them were made in China.
That's not a knife!

I tried on some of their jackets and the shell material they use is stiff as cardboards. It's too heavy and the stuffed material does not feel soft or warm at all.

From what i know these rugged and hard shelled jackets smell more than others with a softer shell due to the down not being able to breathe/air out properly.

Check Winners. Tons of them still on sale. Jackets that are like $500 are on for like $200.
Also saw them at HR2 at vaughan mills.

3 month warranty instead of lifetime. No thanks. I’m looking for a Canada goose myself.

For all the criticism CG gets at least you get lifetime warranty and it’s made in Canada. Good construction.

I will pay extra for that. But 3 month warranty means they don’t stand by their product. I saw a guy wearing a really nice coat the other day and couldn’t believe it was Pajar so some of the designs aren’t bad. Kanuk to me is better though. But again lifetime warranty and I believe made in Canada too.

There are some good CG alternatives but they’re either just as pricey, don’t have much of a presence therefore not much stock. Nobis and CG are killing it and it’s not close.
