Good deal, I bought the GF2 around valentines day with the 14-42mm lens for $319, and the GF2 with the pancake lens was $399 with an extra battery IIRC from Aden Camera.
Pretty happy with the camera, I was advised by a photobug friend that these 4/3rds cameras are a better step up for those looking at going beyond PnS cameras and the entry level DSLR's aren't worth the coin.

You might want to get an additional lens...

I recall reading about lens shadow issues with this camera, due to the positioning of the flash (centered and it doesn't sit very high). On top of this, there is no hotshoe available to remedy this. I understand this is marketed as a 'beginners' camera, but I find with this one they went for the 'cute' look and forgot about functionality

Lens alone is $200. The GF3 improves on grip which GF2 has none - since I bought GF2 last year<$300 with 14-42mm lens, been using 50mmF1.7 manual lens since I got it. GF2 has hot shoe for external flash like Oly's FL(R)-36/5x. Not the best sensor but small.
GF2 and GH1/2 are hacked for better video - only reason I kept GF2.

Unless I'm mistaken, the lens shadow problem don't occur with the 14mm 2.5 lens and probably not the 20mm either (i.e. pancake lenses). Still, rather dumb design though, not that it would stop me from getting it if I was looking for a second body since I hardly ever use my onboard flash for my GF1...

FYI, You can find the same pairing from U.S. based retailers for about US$400 and the zoom lens for US$450 so Royal price is competitive.

Wait, is that with the standard 14-42mm lens kit for $450 or the 14-42 x lens kit? If it's the former, well, not that hot...rather get the 14mm 2.5 kit...but if it's the latter, that's a really great price.

+1
Too Bad Future Shop & Best Buy doesn't carry the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 Digital Camera with 14mm f/2.5 Lens for a PM...
They only carry the kit with the 14 mm - 42 mm lens...
