I just bought a used PAP2T (legit , not counterfeit). I have Rogers at home with the supplied modem DPC 3825 (modem + router built in).
When I plug my PAP2T in to the router/modem, it does not seem to get an IP address. When I dial ****110#, it gives me "19.168.1.5" even if it is not plugged into the ethernet port. Furthermore, I check the DHCP table in my router page and it does not show the device. Also the light on the modem (ethernet port light) is orange for the device whereas it is green for my laptop which I also plugged in.
Does anyone know whats up?

I think you meant to type 192.168.1.5 and if so, it appears that that the unit is configured with a static IP address.
Reset the unit to factory default and it should DHCP to your network. Or set a second computer to 19.168.1.6 and you should be able to access the unit on ...1.5.

I tried setting my computer to 192.168.1.6 but it says ip out of range. This is probably because I start my IP allocation at 192.168.0.10. However if I tell DCHP to start from 192.168.1.10 it says it is invalid as well.
I will try resetting PAP2T. How can one do that?
EDIT:
https://partner.net2phone.com/partne...s-PAP2-FAQ.pdf
I used this page to turn on DHCP. it is now assinged an IP address. However i still cant visit it using my browser.
EDIT 2:
I reset my ATA. The IP address looks good now (on the network) but I cant view it using browser.
Edit 3:
I am in guys.
I will leave the post here so anyone having this trouble can view the solutionLast edited by masfenix; Jul 12th, 2012 at 09:48 PM.

Did you reset the PAP2T (73738#) and ensure DHCP is enabled? Did you try a different ethernet cable?
press ****
then, to check DHCP, press 100
To toggle DHCP, press 101, then enter 1 to enable, or 0 to disable
You can check IP address by entering 110
Manual reboot is 732668

Hi there,
I am also looking for some help, my wireless company (rogers) updated my modem to DPC3825 (modem + router built in) and now my VOIP phone is not working. My VOIP phone is connected to linksys phone adapter (PAP2). I am seeing two green lights (power & Ethernet) in phone adapter but there is no green light in phone line.

Do you have UPNP enabled? What was the old modem before? It might be different ranges that's why it doesn't work. I didn't enable port forwarding on my router and works fine.
