Parking lot accident.
I witnessed someone hit a parked car in a parking lot as they were trying to park their car. Pretty funny, but what happens to the person that hit the car?
Normally parking lots are 50-50, but the car she hit was parked, how does this work out?

if you go forward as the witness it will be 100% the hitter's fault. If you dont then it will be considered a hit and run and the poor guy will have to pay deductibles to get his/car repaired.

Guess you're one of the nice ones out there, good for you.
Rarely does anyone else care if it doesn't involve their property. I'm also sure that 99% of the time, people who hit other cars while parking drive off.

I just got hit while parked on the street in january. the damage was $1700. no note. filed a hit and run but i was still responsible for $500 deductible.
your good act of leaving your number with the victim means you saved him from paying his deductible.

Yeah i really hate it when ppl arent taking responsible of their own mistakes.
Even someone open their car door and slam right into yours, they will still pretend that never happens
Police never take this act seriously, thus making us to report just to file a claim with insurance.
They should have a law with EXTREME penalty to make ppl think over again when they do that
