They've copped onto that. A neighbour tried it and got dinged for $20.

I don't know the name of the streets but when you come up the hill from the American Falls ( where the skyline tower is), you take the first right at the top of the hill. There's a few cheaper lots here. Price depends on what time of year and if a weekend etc but they're always the cheapest.

The only way to get free parking now at the Casino is to have at least $20 redeemed on your players advantage card that day. So what I usually do is insert my card into a slot machine. Cash in 20 bucs, play 1 game of slots at the cheapest slot I can find. Then cash back out and get my money back, (and maybe even some winnings). Once you leave the parking lot, your PAC will register as $20 redeemed and you got free parking.

Only thing that sucks is that you have no in & out privs.

I was at the Falls last week and signed up for a PAC card to get free parking.

I sat down at a blackjack table and played 4 hands for 15 minutes. One of the pit boss took my PAC card and punched something into the system. I broke even so I stood up and headed for the exit thinking everything was on the up and up and I would get free parking.

On a whim, I decided to stop by the PAC counter on the way out and asked one of the worker to check my card to make sure I got free parking. Lo and behold, it did not. She asked me how long I played at the table and I told her 15-20 minutes, I don't know...she told me I was supposed to play longer but she'd give me a break this time and she handed me a free parking voucher.

It certainly isn't as easy as in the past to get free parking, from what I understand.

try road behind Clifton Hill. They have few parking lofts. I always go early there and park. Some are near Victoria Ave/Walnut st.

Save yourself some grief. Just pay the $20 to park at the falls. No worries.

Where are you planning on going?

If mostly the hill, you can park in the red for free. That's just a sub-division.
The black spot, there is city own parking, less than $10 for the night. There is also street parking for the sameish rate.

A lot of people also park in the arena parking lot without paying which is at Kitchener Park

affordable parking? I know of a secret to get you FREE parking, right on Clifton Hill! :D

Growing up/living in the Hamilton/Niagara has certainly had its advantages. I've been using this trick for 8 years and it works every time!

(I'll be referencing Evil Baby's map instead of posting a new one)

There's a huge parking lot right on the hill; (on the map) you turn off Victoria Ave onto Clifton Hill and turn at that un-named road between the Comfort Inn and the Skywheel (in reality, you'll see a yellow 'P' parking sign with an arrow while driving on clifton hill; ripley's is right on the corner and it's also where the dino mini-golf is too). When you get to the booth where you're supposed to pay, just tell them "parking for Kelsey's" (which is right on the corner of CH and Victoria Ave) and you get to park for free! (I don't know if any other resturant names work).

Alternatively, there is also a 'back way' into this large parking lot off Robinson Street - on the map, you drive a little further south along Stanley Ave (just off the map) and then go east along Robinson Ave (this road takes you to Skylon Tower). Once you get over a little bridge, access to this parking lot is on your left. A lot of the time (especially during the off-season) no one is even sitting at this booth so you can just drive in freely. This access is also what we use to leave the Falls so we don't have to deal with the crowds/traffic.

Good Luck!

8 minutes from Vanco…
parking at the old casino is still free, with no play, just need a PAC. No time limit either, I tried taking a ticket on the way in, and sticking my PAC in on the way out. No problems (since the card didn't know when I entered, I could have been there for weeks).
Did I post something that interests you? Feel free to PM further questions.

Thanks for the tip. I will be sure to visit the Old Casino when I am in town. I check again and this Players Advantage Club (PAC) Card is good for both casinos.

Reviving an old but useful thread and looking for any updates in '13, where is the best least amount charge for Parking in the vicinity of Casino niagara/Falls area. I think the deal with casino is you have to gamble min threshold set and then it's waived right?
