I have been in 1530 Markham office several times, the long line up is usually for moving violations. The parking tag office down the hall is very very quiet (at least at those times i was there).

Parking ticket, apply 4 court date - which location smallest lineups GTA?
Got a $250 ticket for parking in fire route dropping off my kid to school. Will go to apply for court date.
Of the locations in GTA, which is the shortest lineup and what's the best time to go? My hours are flexible, but prefer to not go to early in morning (have to drop off the kid). I live midtown. Preferably a location w/ free parking.
I saw this website mention to avoid lunch hrs (obvious), and mon/wed seem best, but fri afternoons less staff. Is this true for those who've been in recently?

"Best time to go
The absolute best time is just before the end of the day around 4:20 p.m. Most people think it's too late to go. But as long as you're in the door, they have to serve you. Note some offices stop serving new clients 15 minutes before closing so budget your time carefully. The next best time is mid-morning just after 9:30 when most people are at work but before coffee breaks start. Some people also try to do it before work so the next busiest time is 8:30 to 9:30. And the absolute worst time is lunch when everyone goes. You can expect waits of over an hour between 11:30 and 2:30.
Mondays (but not Monday mornings) and Wednesdays are better days to go. A lot of people can't be bothered going in after a tough week, so early on a Friday and end of the day Friday are very good times. However keep in mind that there is fewer staff in the office Friday afternoon as they also cut out early on Fridays."

Depends on what you mean by wait, I go Tuesday or Thursday sometime around 11am or 1pm at the Toronto West court on Eglington and Keele
You probably should go if you have like 2 or 3 at a time. It usually is a 15 minute for me._______________

phht, What time/day do you usually go for the markham location?
m4gician, you wait til you get 2 or 3 tickets before going in? Man, that's a lot of parking tickets!
I barely get one every few years.

I went to the parking office at North York Civic Center at 9 am and there was no one in line. The one with longest lines is the one at Metro Hall, so avoid that one.

Heh, i may have over exaggerated, but over the past 2 months I've gotten 3 tickets.
Funny enough, they were 5-10 minutes after my time expired which sucks because I'm always in class and there is only a 3 hour max on the street. But what I mean is, just go in, and request your court date._______________

Someone posted this in another thread... Looks like they will file your request for a court date for $10

Haven't tried myself but worth a shot to save the travel/line up time.
