Patenting ??
I have just designed and built something that i think may have potential on the market, but at this day and age, with patent and stuff, i don't want to run into legal issues
which leads me to want to patent this idea, or actually, find out if this idea is patented, if not, then i can patent it
does anyone know how i can find out if this idea has been patented and what steps i need to take to get something patented?
any help is much appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

It would suck if someone already patented the idea lol

I guess the best way to do this is to ask someone that has patented something on their own before, lots of brilliant minds on RFD, I'm sure someone could give you some nice pointers
Good luck on your thing!
