Now that PayTM doesn't accept Amex, is this the best card to get to charge property taxes/utilities to?

Paytm still accepts MC.
But this is a good backup plan that I will be using.

Before I got Amex, I primarily used my PC World Elite MC. Main purchases are gas, groceries and Costco. I'll compare the rewards to the CTFS card and see if it's worth getting another MC or just relying on the one I have. Thanks.

I dumped my PC WE, as my wife already has the card and I got the CT Options card for bill payments and my regular CT store purchases.
This way, no overlap in our household.

Read the OP#1 post to get an idea about why people even bother to open a CT MC. It's not for everyone.

Has anyone tried using this card to pay Hydro Ottawa bills?

My account number is 20 digits. I have no problem with the 20 digit account number in my RBC online banking. When I try to add the same account number on the CT bill pay site it only accepts 19 digits and cuts the last one off. Anyone know how to correct this?

Ottawa hydro does not work. I tried to get them to make the field bigger but they said that 19 digits is the max.

Don't bother, I already tried
Well I guess that post from 2016 answers my last question :( .

Dear amz155, one of you mentioned paying Property Tax.
Does it mean Vancouver Property Tax?
As I can see only "Vancouver-Tax 90005131", is this the correct bill payment account for Property Tax?

Anyone here have success paying HydroOttawa bill? Account is 19 digits but Canadian Tire bank expects 20 digits. I think I am going to try to add another "0" to see if it goes through.

Are you for real?
Try reading a couple posts above yours.

coolintheshade thanks pointing it out. I got the call for CT Bank representative telling me that my account was only 19 digits and I posted it here without proper screening. Now when I checked it carefully it is actually 20 digits.

Pretty sure it is. See all the other municipal property tax payees that I listed here in an older post from couple of years ago:

Wish OP @patrob would update the #1 post to re-link to my post above (hint hint!), as it became broken last year with the new version of RFD website.

is Options World card still 0.8% when shopping at places other than CT/Marks?

It was never 0.8%, the silver card was and still is.
The World card used to be 1.25% at grocery stores and gas stations (I think), but was reduced to 1% a couple years ago.
