It was never 0.8%, the silver card was and still is.
The World card used to be 1.25% at grocery stores and gas stations (I think), but was reduced to 1% a couple years ago.
3b on the first post?

Looks like its better for me to use CT Options world with Paytm.

3b. For the Options MC, it's 0.8%

Doesn't say Options World (black card)

Pretty sure it is. See all the other municipal property tax payees that I listed here in an older post from couple of years ago:
pay-your-bills-online-using-canadian-ti ... #p18463512

Wish OP @patrob would update the #1 post to re-link to my post above (hint hint!), as it became broken last year with the new version of RFD website.
Done :)

Can you not already pay Rogers services directly with a credit card?

Was trying to set up several payees so kind of like one stop payments with either CTFS or Paytm [waiting for property tax bill].

Also, paying on someone's behalf so prefer to keep control over payments.

I think coolintheshade means that you can make manual payments to the Rogers bill with your card (maintaining control) at any time without paying any sort of "credit card service charge", so the service provided by CTFS isn't as intrinsically appealing, and is in fact probably more tedious. When paying for property tax or student loans or utility bills that are either not payable by credit card at all or charge a fee to do so (thus eating away or eliminating any rewards from making the payment) that's when CTFS is appealing as you circumvent the credit card processing fee

Nobody can confirm because it can't be done.

"Nobody can confirm because it can't be done."

I have paid CRA on Cdn. Tire CC in the past but it stopped accepting payment at least a year ago.
