No, it’ll force you to use a bank account. But you’ll still get 2%
If you're paying with bank account is there a convenience charge then???
and how long does it take to process the payments? And cash back?

Just saw a PayTM ad on Facebook for $10 cash back if you’re paying your City of Vancouver property taxes. Minimum purchase $50 for the cash back.
Promo code: VANCOUVER

Limited time offer but can’t find the specific expiration date on the website or their FB page.

No, 1-2 days processing time (unless this is the first time you're making a bank payment, in which case they take up to 10 days), and 2% cash back.

Wow, they're really pushing out these promos! Here's to hoping all GTA area property taxes get the same.

Well, I got the 20 bucks, but also paid over 3 grand in total in property tax in anticipation of my capital one aspire bonus cashback. Transactions all went thru and posted on GVR city online.
Right so although payTM will cap the 2% cash back at 20$ or for spending $1000, it is still allowing the ability to pay your property taxes with your credit card which also has 2% rewards.

Curious, do you anticipate that payTM may remove the ability to use mastercard to pay property taxes? Is that why you've paid all your property taxes now?
That is the only reason i can think of to pay off all my property taxes before the end of the month (instead of the $1000 I was initially thinking of paying)

How long does it take to become a VIP member?

I just signed up and paid for a bill over $500 with the bank account. Do you have to wait 2 months?

Like right now, I owe MC #1 $3000.
Can I pay MC1 with MC2, and get 2% on MC2? This will create a debt on MC2.
I then pay MC2 via MC3. and finally pay MC3 via bank

Am I missing something??
Yes, the other dozens of posts asking this exact same question.

This thread is a mess of the same questions asked and answered.

Those that are paying property taxes are paying $1000 to get the $20 from paytm. The rest can be paid later....am I right?
I paid $50 Hydro and $50 Enbridge, so I already received $2 cash back. I will pay $900 property tax to get another $18 cash back. I hope they have other promo in Feb, so I can pay the rest of property tax at a later date.

They do have RBC Visa - it's labelled as 'Royal Bank of Canada Visa'
