what was ur balance for those who received the emails?

did u pull out the money for tangerine?

sounds like lottery for me.

Maybe in the futur, it will be a chance to win a cruise, why not? lottery too.

I received the email for the 2.5% rate...my PC account was empty (less than 1$)...I just transferred my money from tangerine to take advantage of it.

Yes, you should get an email in a day or so confirming that you're enrolled but you're good to go now.

I've been waiting and waiting for the e-mail from PCF and finally got it today, or so I thought...

The subject of the e-mail is "Grow your savings with 2.5% on new deposits."

But when I opened the e-mail, this is what I see:

TFSA/RRSP only for me. Thanks PCF for the useless offer :((

Has anyone tried just calling PCF and asking for the 2.5% rate?

I got 2.5% too.

Guys I have a question. I just open a company Inc but my company isn't operating yet so I have no bank account at the moment. I got some gst and taxes back but how do I cash the chèque to my personal account?

Why it is useless. I will go from Tangerine to PCF for 4 months tax free and then move my money out after (yes, I won't have a TFSA after). 4 months for 2.5% depending on your tax bracket is not bad ..

Got 2%, balance prior wasn't very high. Better than Tangerine (which I forgot to move my money out when the new deal came around) and I'm not opening EQ for an extra 0.3%.

Why not transfer the TFSA to another TFSA else where so that you keep it tax free......... it's just a small fee right??

to where? for$50 transfer + loss of interest for a couple of weeks + less than 2% account! No, I'll see if they extend it, if not, I'll just move it to a HISA!

A few weeks after the promo ends, by mid September in this case.
