I don't think the $80k really matters that much and is more based on your credit score. I just put down $80k even though I don't make that much. Got my M/C in 10 days.
Anyone had their income verified by PC Mastercard?

I don't make anywhere close to 80k but applied Friday night and received an email that I was approved Saturday. Based on Borrowell and CreditKarma, my credit score is excellent.

The problem with this card is that you have to constantly keep track of your points. PC points are given in phases. Some immediately, then some 2-3 business days later. It's not as simple and clear-cut as Scotia Momentum Infinite VISA or Tangerine MC (for example) in the sense that when you purchase groceries and gas, it'll be 4% or 2% cash back.

I have all three cards above and PC kept having missed points from Esso, RCSS Gas Bar and No Frills. The points inquiry system for getting back missing points is an easy process; they adjust your points without questions asked but I hate having to track them every time I buy something.

That sucks. Never bothered with checking my points and I use this card a lot for gas and at RCSS, less frequently at No Frills

signed up but not with this deal. the 20k points come in increments of 5k and you have to redeem them when you purchase from loblaws banners.

We use this card for all of our purchases. We save up all of our points and use them for free groceries in January. In the last 3 years we have averaged $500 worth of points per year.

Just when I'm looking to see if there was a sign up bonus for this card, I see that the bonus has been reduced. . .

I guess $75 is better than nothing.

Yup. ANY bonus is better than nothing. When I got my PC card I got the $75 e-card and 20,000 PC points. I'll take it.

This

Plus they've recently suspended redeeming points for gift cards so that kind of ruins the card unless you redeem for groceries which you probably would considering this card only collects 30 points at loblaw stores and Esso gas

For purchases elsewhere, use a different card
