PC Mobile: Unlimited Web Browsing $7/Month - Including SmartPhones
Hello
Anybody tried using PC mobile network for browsing on their smart phones... unlimited web browsing for 7$/month seems HOT...i called them and they said they do support smart phones..any inputs really appreciated

They recently made changes and yes, the service is 3G!!!
(I had a port earlier saying it wasn't but I just read elsewhere after making this post the the op is correct.)

But what smartphones do PC Mobile have? They're CDMA on Bell.

If your considering using this on an android phone you MUST have 2.2 as there is a bug in networking in 2.1
how about using it for BB..?

you can bring your own unlocked smart phone and buy the SIM for PC Mobile

I didn't even know PC mobile existed. Any decent plans? Looking for something ultra cheap for very light use.

i talked to their technical support guy and they said the speed is 3G

25$ for 125 anytime minutes..then they add additional 10$ for which you can pretty much choose any add on...i was talking about the 7$ internet browsing feature..call waiting. call answering, call display, call forwarding included

Sorry my bad, the speed has been upgraded very recently IT IS TRUE 3G!!!!
* there are somethings potental buyers should know (I posted it on the 2nd page and is being updated as I get info from a couple forums.)
remember this is BROWSING *not* DATA your browsing must go through a proxy to work (going to list on 2nd page)
IMPORTANT: if using for android make sure your phone is *2.2* as 2.1 has issues with keeping settings.

on which phone?? you need a 3G phone to do this. I'm not aware pc mo offered any 3g phones. nor they offered sim cards.

are you sure they don't offer sim cards... i talked to CSR twice and they said u can get sim from any loblaws chain

Their FAQ may need updating then:
"26. Do your phones support SIM cards?
No, our phones do not support SIM cards."
