Does PC ever offer points bonus redemption days like SDM? I have almost 70,000 points and been saving them like Optimum, but not sure if I should just be redeeming as they accumulate?

To my knowledge there are not 'bonus redemption days' for pcplus.

Hmm if you have a yig nearby 7000 pc points for spending 50 dollars or 15000 for 100 dollars. If you're near a loblaws city market they may use the the yig flyer. At least mine does lol. If you have natural bonus offer it stacks nicely with the yig offer. :) I'm hoping to try to make it down there tomorrow lol.

Not really PC Plus related but I just picked up a few items at the nearby Loblaws for a potluck tonight and I couldn't believe how expensive certain items are: Cauliflower $7.99 a head (already discussed in another thread) and Cucumber $5.99 or pack of 3 (used to $2.99 or so in the summer)

I read a story on theStar yesterday how grocery prices will go up next year. This will make it even more important to price-match and use the points appropriately to bring your grocery bills down.

We don't eat out much these days but I imagine the restaurants and food courts will have to increase prices accordingly.
Wow. So glad I have a No Frills to shop at! That's some pricey cauliflower!

Yeah on the yig flyer. I don't see the offer on the loblaws city market flyer even though they use the exact same flyer.

Lol i think canabiz grabbed organic instead of regular. Loblaws click and collect claims 7.99 is for organic. Regular is supposed to be 6.99

A new Guiding Stars offer is ready to load, this time something different:

Earn pts on all star rated products & get an extra 1,000 pts!

Look for Guiding Stars star rated products on your grocery store shelf and you can earn additional points by purchasing these star-rated items this week. Here’s a breakdown of the points you could earn: 25 pts for each 1 star rated product, 50 pts for each 2 star rated product & 100 pts for each 3 star rated product
Earn pts on all star rated products & get an extra 1,000 pts!

I am bit confused about this. Get just 1000 points or 1000 on every product? I suspect it is just 1000 once. Wonder how many stars pies have *snicker*?

Just for 2 days and I would of been excited if it was No Frills or RCSS. Not sure what the prices are like at YIP but I suspect similar to Loblaws.

My local one is similar to loblaws in pricing. I have no idea about the one that's formally a yig. That yig was converted from an extra foods. I'm guessing the price range for yig varies quite a bit

The offer terms are very poorly worded. I suspect they mean you earn points at the rate of 25 for each 1*, 50 for each 2* and 100 for each 3* item up to a maximum of 1,000 pts. It's also not clear if these points apply only to your first grocery order that has Blue Star products or accumulate on all purchases you make throughout the next week, (up to a maximum of 1,000 pts, of course.)

In any case 1,000 pts is worth only $1. Nice bonus but probably not worth making a special trip for.

Did I miss a Guiding Stars offer? I couldn't find the one mentioned above when I checked yesterday.

I see it now...it was on the main page rather than something we could click and load to our offers. I might have missed it yesterday, but I don't recall seeing that promo. I wonder who makes up these offers...seems to be needlessly complicated at times.

the wording on the app is different... says "earn pts on all star rated products and get an extra 1000 points on your next shop"

so isn't that 1000 points plus whatever you buy that is starrd

Oh yeah!! Agree on that. And I've told them so when I've had to make Points Inquiries because of complicated/ambiguous wording on offers.

"1,000 points will be awarded on your next shop with us. Be sure to check My Guiding Stars® Profile every week between January 7 to February 4, 2016 and load to earn points. Points awarded for each star rated product purchased between Wednesday, January 6, 2016 and Thursday, January 14, 2016 will be added to your PC Plus™ account by Thursday, January 28, 2016.
*points will be awarded once per transaction. Points will not be awarded for 0 star-rated items."

Huh?? This is just too complicated for me.
