I have the same issue. Today I saw their online chat was available (it wasn't the other couple of times tried). I clicked it and the popup said I was #10 in queue, then 9, a few minutes later 8... it counted down until it just said "you are in queue" and stayed like that for 25 minutes. I tabbed to the PC Optimum page and it said live chat is currently unavailable. Points balance is accurate so I believe I’m properly logged in.
I thought it would resolve itself but no charge after 5 days. Figured I’d have to call in. When I call in it says “estimated wait time is greater than 60 mins.”
Does anyone know how to correct the problem without calling in? Is chat better/faster than phone?
Anyway, persistence pays off, I kept trying since I was sitting at the computer anyway, and eventually I got a PC Optimum Ambassador. He explained that the errors are a system glitch they know about and are currently fixing, and while I have no offers this week, it should be resolved when they push out new offers on Thursday. And he credited me 2,000 points for the inconvenience.
