So you're saying that the glucosamin would be eligible toward that $20 total, but the points specifically for the glucosamin wouldn't count toward the 10X offer if we reached $20. I think that's what you mean...I don't think we'll get it in this case, thanks though for explaining.
What I'm saying is that the offers will stack in the sense that you get points from both, but that the points from each offer are calculated separately. So, you get 1800 per $9 on the glucosamine offer. The glucosamine also counts toward reaching the $20 WUS offer. So, if you were able to spend exactly $20 before tax including $18 on glucosamine, you'd get 2 x the 1800 per $9 = 3600 from the glucosamine offer. You'd also get 10x = 3000 from the WUS $20 offer. So, your total would be 6600, which is the sum of points from the two individual offers.

What the system won't do is combine the offers by giving you the 3600 from the former offer multiplied by the 10x from the latter in a single calculation.

Stacking means both offers apply. It doesn't mean they both apply in combination. I hope this is clear for you now.

With Superstore / Extra Foods (etc) gas stations ... if using PCF MasterCard ... - I / we get $0.09 cents per litre of gas back .... plus 3% back from the purchase price.
So ... going with the above example .... Let's just say (for example) the price of regular gas is $1 at Superstore gas station .... and I put 50 litres of gas in the car ... and charge it to PCF World Elite MasterCard ... paid $50

I would get back in PC Points / PC Optimum points: 50 litres x 9 cents / L = $4.50 ... plus i'd also get $1.50 (3% from paying $50 with PCF World Elite MasterCard ....

So all together ... I would get back $6 (in PC Points / in PC Optimum points) redeemable at Superstore / Extra Foods etc (and now at Shoppers also) ... from $50 gas purchase.

So: get $6 back (redeemable on food etc) ... from $50 gas purchase

Submitted a points enquiry yesterday afternoon via the app and no response. Submitted another enquiry this morning (the same one, in case the first one didn't go through for some reason) and still nothing. Past requests always resulted in a quick response. Anybody else noticing delays?

SDM 20x on milk can be deferred. Not sure about SDM 20x on $ spend offer.
I scored, or rather SCOPed, an even better deal at Superstore this morning. The fridge label said $4.27 but the bag scanned in at $4.28. Then the self-checkout assistant took too long to verify this (he was also trying to help two or three others) that he apologized and voided the charge.

No bonus points though ;)

Ive been waiting three weeks now because I can't add wife to household. Says she's already added, but her points balance is still different and card is not linked.
I contacted them again last week, including my reference number for investigation, and they don't even respond.

I guess they are struggling still to keep up and fix bugs?

I think I do, and I appreciate your explaining it again. I guess what I don't understand is why if the 10X $20 is a fixed amount (3,000 points due to how many points SDM gives generally X 10) then why they don't just say "3,000 points for $20" rather than "10X points for $20." That would certainly be easier for for at least haha.

My mistake. I rechecked my receipt and you are correct. You do get the 20x points as well as the personal offer points. I think I’ve discovered a glitch in the system for 20x points if there is a price error that’s corrected at the cash register. I’ve attached a pic of a reciept that made me think the price of the personal offer doesn’t count toward the 20x. My 20x points didn’t correctly add up from my regular points so I thought it was from the $11.99 Life Brand offer but it was from the $12 juice boxes that were corrected by the CSR.
The regular points are 2265 so the 20x bonus points should have been 2265 x 20 - 2265 = 43035 but I only received 39615. A difference of 3420 which is the $12. I put in for a points adjustment and received the 3420.
Thinking back this also happened when I bought an XBox for $229.99. The price came up at $299.99 so it was corrected by the CSR and I didn’t get my 20x points for it. I’ve requested a points adjustment three times now and I’m still waiting.

I'm waiting on one too from yesterday. They are usually really prompt. Check your spam box too because I've had some PC mail go there.

Because there are two types of offers. Your 10x wus $20 isn't limited to $20, which works out to 3000. It's 10x on any amount that's at least $20. So 3000 for $20, 3150 for $21, 3300 for $22, etc.

Offers with a specified point amount work differently. So "3k points when you spend $20" would give base points (15 per $1) on every $1 spent, but the same 3k no matter how much more than $20 you spend. It's usually not even per $20, so still the same 10k if you spend a multiple of $20.

I have yet to submit a points inquiry with this new Optimum program (I'm just not getting enough offers to even go shopping), but in the past any point inquiry would get a response within minutes.

Wonder if they will allow redemptions at esso
Yes, I am wondering the same, as the News Article I read did not discuss this point

Just that Esso will pay out 10 PCO Points per Litre ... and 10 PCO Points per $ 1 Spent in the Convenience Stores and on Car Washes

But if they do go with the usual PCO Model of 10,000 Points = $ 10 Gas, I might have to rethink my gas purchasing preferences in the future, we normally hit up Costco - PetroCanada - or Shell ... depending on Convenience and Cost

But sitting on a pile of PCO Points ... and Gas so expensive ... the temptation to switch to FREE Gas will be very high

It definitely is an interesting partnership ... Major Grocery Store Chain - Pharmacy Chain - and Gas Station... all NATIONAL too

Just use your app or PC Optimum website. You should be able to see your mastercard under you PC Optimum account now.
The reward points will be shown as "PC Financial Earn"

Thanks. Any idea how long it takes the app to update with points earned from the PC financial card?
