I got that too. They backdate the conversion to Jan 31st, when the PCO Points program went live.
If you redeemed any points after Jan 31st and before two weeks ago when you transferred, then they are deducted from your conversion.
This is what happened with me. It was all correct, just confusing.
Ok, that explanation would make sense.
Weird though the backdating part... when the fill in the blanks boxes on the website, ask for one to fill in their current balances for both PC+ and SDM Optimum Cards to see what the Points will be worth after merging

www.pcoptimum.ca

Ya think they’d do the conversion in real time too

I think you can if you bundled with grocery purchases.
No harm to try.

About earning PCO points. on PC Mobile phone itself. Normally, no PCO points except charges to its PC mastercard for any PC Mobile phone/card.
An exception was 15k PCO points for $100 last March as advertised on the weekly store flyer for overall instore purchase.
I bought a PC Mobile G5 Play for $140 + taxes as it was on sale (reg $180) at that time and got 15k added account.
What do you mean by bundled with grocery purchase? Do you mean if you buy $100 of grocery and a phone, then you can redeem $100 in points and pay the rest by cash/debit/credit card?

Looks like another Shoppers Drug Mart 20x PC Points when you spend $50 is set for Wednesday Oct 10th:

Sorry for inconveniences.

I have not done this phone and grocery bundle. I am merely suggesting that you try.
For example :
$10 for grocery and a phone $90, totalling $100.
Redeem PCO points for $100 as it is unlikely to redeem more to pay for taxes.

If the transaction does not go through, just pay $10 for grocery.

It’s on the front page of the flyer this week.

Now does the flyer offer stack with the 20x points PCO app offer? Mine becomes valid on Wednesday as well.

I says the following though:
"This offer cannot be combined with department or total store offers". So is the event tomorrow and Wednesday considered a "total store offer" that it cannot be combined with?

I went to the customer service desk and it turns out, yes you can buy the PC Prepaid phones with PCO points. No need to bundle with grocery purchases.

i got the 15,000pts for $50 spend on almost anything

I'm sure the shoppers I frequent will have the $25 and $45 one posted on a sign. If so, I may buy a new electric shaver as I need one.

Nope.

Both Department Offers and Total Store Offers are WUS Offers
(Wording says ... When You Spend)

Those types of Offers at SDM don’t stack

Both of the ones you are referring to ... Personal Offer for Wednesday, or the Flyer Offer for Tuesday & Wednesday, are also WUS Offers... so it’s going to be one or the other that will be applied (20x the Base Points on the Bottom Line)

For shoppers, is 20x on $50 or more the same as 15K points for $50 purchase assuming you buy exactly $50?

Yes. "30% in points" is the same as 15k points on exactly $50.

But more importantly, 30% in points is better if you go over $50 because you continue to get point 30% on the amount above $50. With 15k on $50 you get no bonus on $50.01 to $99.99, etc.

Good post... I would just add for clarification... cause some folks have asked in the past... where the percentages that get tossed around come from

Us PCO Points Hounds being so quick to just discuss Earned Percentages vs hard number PCO Points

30% Cash Back in Points represents the following:

SDM 15 Base Points per $ 1 Spent = 15 x 20x Multiplier = 300 Points per Dollar Spent
And 300 PCO Points = 30 Cents = 30 % on the $ 1

So ya generally speaking ... Multipliers like 20x are a way better bang for ones SDM Buck
Vs any of their Earn x amount of points When You Spend $ y

But it always is smart to do the math to understand where the sweet spot lies to maximize one’s earnings
